@ulahts (entrant): Thank you for clarifying, but do not become a judge now (mentor is fine). I just asked for opinions here as it is a common issue and one contest website (you are a member of it too) do not allow contacting the contest holder directly (they have a good reason for it though). Hope SP will also apply that rule!

My statement:
Once the logo is announced as winner we'll get in touch to finalise colors and discuss the stationery items you need and the payment as well.

I never used any kind of e-mail but to help the contest holder, we cannot communicate with him in no way but this board.
I helped a lot of CH in the past - i have witnes to prove that - the same way i did now.
Not everybody that joins SP has forum knoledges so some guidances needs to be made to enable his private message option.

Do you think my 150 wins here on SP reflects the fact that i was a mentor and that's why i won so many contests? Man, you're wrong.
In the first week i actively participated on SP i won 8 contests - while it was in the forum format. At the time i had already 100-150 logos in my portfolio. And i wasn't a mentor or anything like that. If you think i am taking advantage of my position, i guess you don't know how things are arround here or you personally have an aversion against my person. Beside, i am not the only mentor participating in contests. If you will read the forums you will find a few other active participants as well.
Please RE-READ the guidelines and if you have something to say please do say but in private. As a screen name you can say all the things in the world. It's very easy. Nobody can take action against a screen name.

But also it would be good, that CH at least take a look at remaining entries and feedback them, although he has appereantly already chose winner.

Maybe he wanted to ask CH smth regarding contest etc.
Maybe he offered lower price.
Maybe he likes to chat.
Maybe they are in woods.

Ask him over PM next time about it ;)
