I wanted to say why I chose the one I did. There were so many that were so amazing, so creative. You guys are very talented. I knew I loved the simple and clean look for a logo....but there was a part of me that wanted something creative, something edgy, just because my initials are quite boring. D and E must be the two most boring letters in the alphabet. I find that the winning entry really showed that sleek modern style, but when I saw what he did with my logo, I was blown away. I never thought a D and E could look so good and blend so well together. At first glance I actually thought they were C's. So this simple and modern style ended up having a splash of something creative within the graphic. And edgy too, since they kind of look like two boobs! ;)

Thank you everyone for your submissions. I actually showed many of the ones I was considering to a bunch of other photographers and they were very impressed. Some of them asked me for the link to this site so they probably will be starting up contests of their own here soon.

Those are all working addresses but none of them are coming to me. They are not in my spam folder or my inbox. Well, I've decided to cancel this contest. Last week after spending a lot of time trying to choose which logo I loved the most, I finally decided on a winner. I updated the contest to reflect that. The winner never contacted me, and I seem to be unable to PM the winner. I emailed customer support and got no help. So I started searching around to find a way to comunicate with the winner. While searching, I noticed many new photographer logo contests that have just started up. This doesn't suprise me since I just recommended this place to an online photography forum consisting of thousands of members. But, what concerns me, is that I saw many of the same designs that were submitted here being altered to fit other photographers initials. Even the design I picked as the winning design. I loved the logo, but having a unique logo is most important. I don't care to have a logo that will look like everyone else. For that reason I have decided to cancel this contest. I know I am able to cancel contests as long as I can explain why, but I can't seem to change the status of my contest to canceled. So I guess I'll just leave it at this. I will be sure to update the post I made on that photography forum to reflect what my experiences here have been.

I just wanted to drop in and say WOW! So many entries, and so many of them GOOD! I don't have time to comment on everyone today but I'll try to get to everyone later. You guys are making this really hard for me!!! This is going to be tough! Thank you so much for all your time and talent!

I have to say I am seeing some great ideas here for my letters, but I find myself wondering if my letters will make a good enough graphic. I think a couple of people are getting really close to making the letters work for me, but I just wanted to just put it out there that I am open to an image graphic too if anyone thinks of something that will work great for what I do.
