I want to thank you all for entering the contest. There were some excellent designs.

I want to thank cafemocha for entering the contest early, and make revisions according to my requests. I cannot emphasize enough the importance of entering the contest early. Sorry, I didn't leave comments for the last few entries, because by then, the decision was already made.

gaba's entry would be my second preference, and iam2me3's next.

I will be posting the contest for web design for 3dpv.net soon. Stay tuned.

    John

I do not like text rended with 3D shadings. Is that what you are asking?

@johnqh: I just asked if the 3D text/logo would do (as I want to work on a 3D icon). If you do not like the concept only,...so!

Please note, I prefer a design with a clear seperation between the graphic portion and the text portion, because the graphic portion can stand alone as program icon etc. Thus, designs with only text won't work.
