To clarify - you don't need to pay to use your logo. Why - because I(or whoever you choose) have already paid for the rights to use the font. The designer will make the font into curves so that it is "just a picture/logo." But for example if you were to do advertising with other print - ie for a billboard, then it might be good to get the font. That being said, most medium-largescale printing companies will have the fonts most designers use anyway :).
ToÖ Intrepidguppy. Thanks for font info. Please freeware, I dont want to discuss with anyone who I have to pay when I use my own logo in a print. I would like to say the idea to have a contest here was very good. We have seen some excellent Ideas and are very pleased with what we have seen in effort and creativity. I know at the end we can only choose one but it will be tuff. We still have a lot of time and I know there will be many more excellent entries, but I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has submitted up to now for your efforts.

I mean for example - the font I used was Eurostile (payware) - I bought the rights to use it for producing logos and I can sell you the logo, but if you want that font for future use for ads etc, then you will need to purchase it from the site that sells it. Or, I can use a freeware font and you don't need to worry about any of that :D

So do you want us to use free fonts? - if we use payware fonts obviously all we can do is point you where to pay :)
