Not long to go now so thought its a good time to provide a few ideas.

I really like the idea of a lady at a desk. Logoman inspired me on this direction.

I would really love to see more designs of this nature. The client is female and is a freelance copywriter so this is a nice design direction to take. But keep it simple. I am not looking for a detailed illustration. Clean and simple. Maybe even a silhouette or a simple illustration like logomans.

And then there is always the idea mentioned in the brief that nobody has tried
    i.e
"puzzled/confused looking character with a bubble above his head with words all jumbled up or not making any sense."

    Many thanks!

Another idea I quite like is this

Just to clear up any confusion.

Because the words sound alike, copywriters are sometimes confused with people who work in copyright law. The careers are unrelated.

Copywriting is the process of writing the words that promote a person, business, opinion, or idea. It may be used as plain text, as a radio or television advertisement, or in a variety of other media. The main purpose of writing this marketing copy, or promotional text, is to persuade the listener or reader to act to buy a product or subscribe to a certain viewpoint, for instance. Alternatively, copy might also be intended to dissuade a reader from a particular belief or action.
