    Hello everyone - I need some clarification - what are the rules on this board if you ask (in the original contest) for an .ai or a .eps and they simply only give you a psd done at 72 dpi -

    Thank you everyone who has submitted. I have printed off about 30 of these layouts and I am going to be showing them to the board tonight. It is a late meeting, so please, don't ask me who has won etc. I will post the winner on Friday morning.

    AquVila, as some friendly advice for future contests, don't send countless PM's to the contest holder, and post here - all asking about feedback. Your first entry received feedback pretty quickly. Considering you posted in the middle of the night here, a response at 6:00am is pretty good. There was no need for the repeated PM's etc. The only thing you did by sending me all of the PM's is to turn me totally off to your designs. I asked you in a PM not to PM me anymore and then I received more of them from you asking for feedback. At that point I decided that none of your designs would be shown. I cannot work with a graphic artist that can't listen to or follow simple instructions. Sorry.

    Its a composition.

    A logo has a function and a purpose. if the composition doesn't full fill those needs then it is nothing more then a piece of art rather then design.

    10x 4 the feedback... i really like ya' comment but if its not a logo and lacks of cncept... wht is it?!?!?! i put my soul in everything i do. By the way, that logo of yours is missing a "C" (must have a sharp eye 2 see thet the flame is the "c")- may the best man win.... good luck ;)

    @AquVila: Your design is not a logo its a sign to be completely honest. Well done identities work in black and white and have an embedding concept. Your logo lacks a concept beyond throwing a image next to type. Integrating the typography and symbol into a unified whole is the key. Your identity simply does not do this.
