Design brief

Organization name

Capo Critters

Description of business

We develop Capo Critters with accompanying riffs. These capo critters are fun and unique critters designed to slide onto a variety of capotastos (capos). The riffs are 4-8 bars of sheet music. Note that a capo is a device used to change the pitch of string instruments such as guitars, mandolins and banjos. Capo Critters: http://kck.st/wZB4QA

Further requirements

Please look at our Capo Critters Kickstarter project for additional information: http://kck.st/wZB4QA.

In regards to the colors (red, yellow and (blue and/or green)... these colors should be similar to the colors seen in a "Scarlet Macaw" or optionally the "Green-winged Macaw".

Just FYI, here are some capotastos that are on the market today, that our capo critters should be able to slide onto:
(1)Crazy Cart quick-change capo

(2)Kyser quick-change capo

(3)G7th Nashville capo

(4)Unknown manufacturer/retailer capo

I am not sure what would be best for the logo for the capo critters design, so I left it kinda open-ended... but a scarlet macaw or green-winged macaw capo critter on a capo with the "Capo Critters" words underneath may be cool... Also, perhaps the guitar neck and maybe the headstock should be included as well... or on the flip side, perhaps the logo should just be fancy letters without a capo, critter and/or guitar at all. ... And then again.... if the image is unique enough, perhaps the words "Capo Critters" doesn't need to be shown at all.

So there is no specific design that must be followed, these are just general guiding requirements that may help influence what may work with the logo. :)

Btw, this image (logo) should fit nicely on the face of a coffee mug.

Again, please do not feel constrained/restrained by the options I have chosen throughout this project description.

Thanks a lot as your effort is really appreciated!

Note: the angle of the green conure in the photo within the Kickstarter project is off... this was a rapid prototype, but new pictures should be coming soon and I'll post them when I get them. The red macaw that is shown is at a better (but not perfect) angle... this is also a really rough prototype as I quickly glued him together with felt.

Sincerely,
Robert Liguori
