I have been a financial advisor for ~15 years now and have found that it is the business owners that are in the greatest need for advice and guidance.
There is a crisis in the US and Canada with small to medium sized businesses not being able to pass along theirs to family members, or have a major business interuption or failure due to death, sickness and disability.
I work as a consultant and go into mostly family businesses, look at the structure, identify their risks and map out a gameplan to ensure that they have control of their business not the banks and/or receivers.
The "Wealth" I refer to in the title is the human capital needed to run the business.

My target market is generally baby boomer business owners who are getting to the stage where they need to think about what will happen to their business as they age, etc.
The type of business owner that I like to deal with are entrepreneurs, medical professionals and blue collar companies.
I am based an hour outside of a major city so not to flashy...for some of these country folk... ; )
As I said earlier, my esthetic is very clean and contemporary.
My color preferences are brown, blue and silver - all can be light and/or dark.
I like the use of white text with a dark background.
No black backgrounds please.
Would also prefer to have the company name in the logo.
And last but not least...I HATE all the tacky imagery that often comes with a financial serves co. ie. a globe, dollar bills, stock pages, compass etc.
Ideas for logos could revolve around the elimination of risk, going through a process and/or taking action.
I think you catch my drift.
