Hi Everyone! I just wanted to thank you for all the submissions. There are a lot of very talented designers here. h311boy's design was exactly what I had envisioned my logo would look like so I have awarded my prize to him. He did a fantastic job in capturing my dream!

Again thank you all for the great work you've submitted.

OKAY - These aren't really "Feng Shui" based but I had fun creating them. I know they don't compete with the high ranked entries up there now but I spent the time working on them I thought I'd put them up anyhow:) mm

I understand your opinion about the position of the bear. I didn't take that into consideration. To me he just look like an exhausted animal who was laying back and resting after gorging himself on a tasty meal at the CH rest. Looking at it now I do get what you are saying and can see how that would be taboo.
In regards to Feng Shui, years ago I paid a lot of money to become a certified Feng Shui practitioner in my Interior Design business, as it was "all the rage". I don't use it as much now, but there are still elements that I still try to practice. Why I didn't think to use it hear I don't know. I guess I was more focused on trying to create a happy, whimsical character first. If anyone is interested in using Feng Shui as a basis for design and would like guidance, let me know and I can post some things that might help and would make sense to the CH.
One thing that calls to mind with the current submissions are the use of fire, one of the main elements of Feng Shui and the use of the colors gold and red (or maroon, burgundy, wine) which is said to bring wealth.
Well, anyway, let me know. I've gotta go for now as my work day is almost over. WIll be back on from home later. Mary

monkeymaze, I have different opinion with the panda, the position is not good looking because his legs are wide open or eagle spread, it's not a good view that the butt is facing.
But well, each of us has our own opinion. Good luck on your panda
