We are a small artisan bakery located in Ashland, WI on the Chequamegon Bay of Lake Superior. Our business is located in the historic downtown shopping area and shares the block wth a food co-op and a popular coffee house. We are the creators of european style artisan breads, pastries, desserts & deli items. We also provide full service catering and wedding cakes. We wholesale our products to restaurants, health food stores, local grocery stores.
We are all about from-scratch handmade baking, using high quality ingredients. Our products are 100% hand made. -This is the most important aspect of what we do.
We take what we do very seriously, but we still manage to be a hip cool place, that people enjoy coming to.

Must include the words: "Ashland Baking Company"
May or may not include the words "Ashland, WI"
Must look good in 1 or 2 colors, 4-color is okay as long as it also looks good in black and white, as well as reversed out. We are open to your ideas about color.
Must be modern & sophisticated and very easy to read.
Must work for labels, signage, brochures, shirts, hats, variety of retail uses.
MUST NOT be clip arty, cartoonish or look like every other bakery logo out there (ie. wheat, loaf of bread)
Winning designer must provide: eps. psd, jpg, gif, fonts & pms colors.
