Description of business

I am seeking an appropriate logo for a male barbershop. The 'look and feel' of the barbershop will closely resemble the Gallery Photos located at this site (http://www.baxterfinley.com/shop-gallery). I am trying to create a 'Nordstrom' environment for a 'Target' priced haircut. While I didn't include a logo, I would also be open to including the phrase 'barbershop for men' so that people who walk by know that services are only for men and boys. I included some logo images that I liked for different reasons. The eagle is representative of America and the scizzors are commonly associated with barbershops. I also like the idea of being able to convert 'American Cuts' to an acronym 'AC' like what Eddie Bauer has done. The logo will need to be versatile such since it would be applied to a storefront glass window, outdoor sign, apparel, website and marketing collateral.  I am trying to go for a wide audience (kids up to baby boomers) so it has too look 'classic'.  I would like to avoid the use of the mustache as I fear it might not attract the younger population.
