Firstly, thanks to everyone for all the entries.
I aplogise for the time it has taken to award the winner. As mentioned above, I had to attend a family emergency and have spent the last 2 weeks in a remote part of South Africa with a famiy member who suffered a heart attack after having emergency surgery. The good news is that she is recovering nicely.
I have awarded the winner and have ranked the close finishers with 4 stars. Thanks to everyone who took part for your time and creativity.

NOTICE TO ALL PARTICIPANTS:
Calan has had to fly to South Africa for a family emergency. He will not have an internet connection for a few days and would like to thank everyone for the entries submitted. He apologises for not being able to provide feedback on the entries submitted over the last few days, and will declare a winner as soon as he can get to a decent connection. He looks forward to seeing the new designs and will provide feedback as soon as possible (likely to be Saturday if things go well).

I dont think the same IDEA shoud be taken from the logos from logo pond. Maybe just some inspiration, but not the entire thing, and just change the wording. There should be some that know what Im talking about
There are alots of things you need to be considered when creative a brand, 1 Colors and what it convey, 2 Shapes and the meaning 3, adaptation etc, i have considered all these before i creat your logo.

I've got some really good ideas... I will be submitting soon. I don't see why people aren't flocking to this contest. You provide an easy brief and suggestions of how you would like your logo to be!

In addition to those above, I'm trying to scour around and find logos I think offer some value in terms of ideas. In terms of the type of logo, I like most of the logopond.com logos as they are generally modern and clean and tend not to use too many colours. Here are some that I think have good creative possibilities.
This could perhaps give you ideas for the logo forming a passport stamp, or a postcard stamp.

Hi all, thank for the entries so far.
I'm wondering if perhaps you guys are struggling with the name? The first 20 entries aren't as professional or refined enough for what we need. The fonts used are either very standard square fonts or very untidy.
