Thanks for all your entries everyone, we have gone with design #107.
wow, #123... that is pathetic.
The contest holder has guaranteed to award the $195 prize!
Some more general feedback -- I'm not sure why every one of these designs ended up blue, it was not specified in the brief.
I'm not sure we have found something that we are really settled on yet, there have been some very close concepts that miss the mark slightly.
Can you please take into account that this is for all mediums, so colour use is nice, but it's not a priority, we would like the design to stand alone outside of fancy colouring which makes some of these designs very hard to differentiate.
Here are some examples of font styling that we like, simple and effective classic fonts.

or something like
http://www.mynitelife.co.uk/
It doesnt have to be BLUE either, the site will be a mix of both grey and brown, some of the clue choices hare are nice but it would be nice to see any variation.
Think outside the box a little, it shouldnt just be centered around the word chilly
Just a quite note about fonts, are and of you able to try a translucent style similar to what's used here: (http://www.mynitelife.co.uk/) Obviously not a direct copy, but we feel that kinda conveys a light watery kinda feel which we are going after. Also fonts we like are bold versions of fonts like Futura, Gill Sans, Helvetica.
Some inspiration for the work we like can be found in this thread -- http://www.smashingmagazine.com/200…n-contest/
Thx chullybun for your message... i'm back :)
I did not copy, i just read the brief... :-| The ice cube has no copyright... :-P Good luck to all... i leave !!!
Appreciate your adjustments...
I will work harder in order to improve on my initial submissions :)
Hi MzSmiley,
Their implementation of the ice-cube is more along the lines of what we are looking for, i had meant to make it 3 stars, which i have now amended.
Why are you giving four stars to someone who has copied my concept???? Come on!
Updated the brief a little to add some more detail, please feel free to ask any questions or if you need clarification on anything.
