We are a start up childrens shoe company, designing quality leather shoes for little feet; 1-5yrs approx. We believe our kids deserve funky footwear that will last through all the fun of childhood. Our shoes are classicly coloured.
SQUARE BEES
We are targeting families (and their kids) who want quality footwear for the precious little feet in the family. The aim is to create a brand that is recognisable at a glance and associated with quality, comfort and durability. Our market will want shoes that will last until the child grows out of them.
We need the design to look cool and funky for the age group; one that is child friendly and recognisable at a glance.
1. The typeface should be child friendly and clear. Perhaps a handwritten font.
2. We use velcro straps, so ideally want a logo placed on this. Therefore designing within a square or rectangle shape would work best.
3. We would like equal weighting between the two words SQUARE & BEES, we are open to the choice of casing.
4. We don't want to incorporate anything to do with the insect bees.
5. Please do not use any stock images or clip art in the logo.
6. We had orginally thought that we could do something around the bees being in a sqaure ( to play on the words), so we would like to pursue this if possible.
7. No cartoons.
8. Perhaps not overlly colourful, as we do not want to have clashes with the colours on the shoes.
9. The files we will require are:
Print file format - .ai (CMYK)
Web file format - .jpg and layered .psd (RGB)
