Bell i think the easiest way forward on this one would be to start slimming down the QTY of submissions. for example if there are any here that you will definitely NOT be including in your thoughts, then get rid of them. Most designers on here are impatient for the simple reason the designs initially are free until someone wins. I'll hold my hands up i get grumpy some times but hey i've learnt my lessons. Your bullet points from my understanding of what this site is all about were really not necessary yet very helpful so thanks. It's almost like being back at uni man and your teacher setting you work then handing out an answer sheet with it. Come on guys we are designers...................WHERES THE FLARE!!!! Your brief was more than good enough to work from so you just get your nose into what suits you and your company Bell. Whatever designs you like, contact the designer in pm and ask for the changes you want! Were more than happy to help. You can't please everyone all of the time my friend so sit back and remember this is business!!! Cheers

No, giving feedback is not based on ‘good or bad design'.

I don't just look at logo once and give feedback, I look at a logo several times before leaving feedback, some designs I thought won't work after coming back to it I can see the possibilities, equally it works the other way round. Others look great but don't thick all the boxes, they may be great designs in it's self but don't represent what I want for a juice bar. The checklist I go through is:

-Do I understand what it is saying, will my customers understand it and will they like it, will they remember it
-Is the logo fit for my purpose, does it cover my brief
-Can I use it for all my stationary needs, will it work on a business card, menu, letterhead, cup etc
-Will I be able to use it as my business grows -, can it be flexible
-Can I wear a T- shirt, hat with this logo on it?
    - How will it look on a shop front, board?
    - Does it have that ‘X' factor?

I had hoped by my design brief explained what I was looking for without the need to be a long rumblings essay but gave enough of my criteria to invite free expression as it is a ‘new' logo I want so does not come with the baggage of an ‘old' logo that needs to improved or re- work.

Sometimes I may ask a designer to make a change but this is often not necessary if no changes are required because it either ticks enough of my boxes or not at all.

I really do appreciate the talent out there and want to give it my full consideration.

Some of you may get my feed back at 2am in the morning, it's not because I have had a good night out, just got back and thought I have to give feedback! I am more likely to have been sitting at my computer for several hours looking at your designs, thinking about them all day, in my sleep, all after a working day of an 8 am start and 7pm finish. That's where I am coming from.

Hope it answers your question, thanks for asking it.

Hi all, There are some really great designs and different interpretations coming forward. I am very open to these and not restricted to one design type. In my brief I put my desired style as funky and fun etc and that I wanted the logo to be used for the web and all stationery for the juice bar so my final choice will be one that I feel best fits this.

As there are a lot of entries feedback may take a little longer for me to get around. Also as you have all spent your time to design and submit it is only fair I take care to consider these. Thanks again for your entries.

greenmushroom- if it is just the color that the CH doesn't like, you could try it with a lemon, because I really like the three! Just my opinion

Im a bit lost with this competition. Seems to be scattered feedback and ratings and no consistancy to move forward in our designs. Sorry to sound pushy but we are working for nothing here!:-)
