    thanks for the heads up,
    but the general comments is not the section to discuss copyright violations. Instead report the contest and describe the infraction. This way a moderator will deal with it post haste and no one has to call anyone out publicly.

    thanks,
    Randy

    The posts that we have received are really good and I'm truly happy with the results. When we decided to use this service we hoped that we would find someone that we could continue to work with after the competition. So far it has exceeded our expectations as a customer and we have had the pleasure to see some really good designers do a great job!

    Cheers,
    Jonas

    Hi Braveheart4 et all,

    Good questions. Let me see if I can give you some more guidance. The games are going to be played online in real-time. No downloads or plug-ins required. Just play!

    Let me try to give you some segments that you can use, or get a feel for what can be used:

    * Games - Maybe a "list" of games to play (initially there will only be poker - Texas Hold'em.)
    * Real-time tables showing current poker games, top players, number of current players etc...
    * Game rules
    * Game strategies
    * Kaasino News
    * Player login - register to play
    * Member area
    * About Kaasino
    * Contact us/support

    As described in the brief we would like to see something new/modern, young, fun, colorful. We don't want to see a "traditional" casino site. If you have some cool idea of how to navigate to the above information, please go for it.
    Hope this helps.

    Btw, we are on Pacific Time (PST), so it might take a few hours till we respond on everyones posts.

    Cheers,
    Jonas

    Could you provide what you need on homepage?
    Ex: 3 box, login, newsletter, promotions circles, etc,

    That really would help.

    Great contest, but first I would like to know something. What kind of segments that site should have, so that I can get a fell of organizing the space.

    Hi Randy,

    I'm new to this "contest" idea, so you'll have to forgive me. We have no intention to abandon this contest. We [Kaazing Corporation] are creating this new Casino site as a proof of concept for our company's underlying technology. The casino site will, over time, contain several casino games that users can play for free. This is a high-profile case for us and here is a link to a well-known site announcing the first game we will be hosting at the casino site - http://ajax.sys-con.com/read/420488.htm. The first people to try out our casino poker tournament is the AjaxWorld conference delegates. After the conference the plan is to make this Poker game available to the public.

    The company behind this is Kaazing Corporation (http://www.kaazing.com). We don't want the Kaasino site to reflect any connection between the two sites. We want the casino this to be an independent and fun site, thus the complete freedom to come up with cool designs for the casino homepage and logo.

    Hope this answers your questions and removes any potential doubts.

    Cheers,
    Jonas
