i'm surprised they didn't pick #16.. that one is just PERFECT as well. maybe they;ll pick it as a THIRD logo... one can only hope.. : )
congrats tot he winner.. i like how you picked up on how when promotinf a museum.. its really important to highlight the trees , shrubbery and flagpole..
the logo style will relatable to school age children... especially those that identify history with geneva and helvetica, as they all do.
and the addition of an extra printing color for the "flag" was a BRILLIANT touch.. it really adds a lot and will really make a good use of the clients budget.
and how creative.. they're gong to use 2 different logos.! rad the comments..!! 34 AND 118.. way to go!

redchyld, how about starting your own contest and THEN give feedback. It's not what you like, it's what the contest holder likes.
Hey I like where #44 is going but i'm not to fond of the engravers mt or the color scheme.
#35 is pimp but i really don't care for the type treatment or the 2 reverse dashes on the white
area where the clock overlaps the house. #2 is nice although it's almost abstract is that a symbol for cotton?
I don't care for the type treatment on that one either, hope that is encouraging although it's just from one designer to another.
