Again, I am blown away at everyone's talent here. The client has some pretty particular tastes as we started to move through this process (suprise suprise). I imagine they will be making a selection for the winner tomorrow.

I have been working with designers for a long time and have not seen a pool of talent like this ever. I would like to be able to stay in contact with you all so please feel free to email me at alrichey@tometasoftware.com

I have misc design work on a daily basis that doesn't fit into one of the contests here so I hope you blast me back.

    Cheers

    Luke Richey

Hello everyone, I plan to go through and post some feedback on each logo after showing them to the client. I am amazed at the talent on this site! People were able to make concepts and ideas from both the gravity and the jack part of the word.

nope.Mocha has not taken anything from you directly and changed it to make it his own. An apple is a universal concept that is naturally thought of with gravity. I dont know who makes the rules. lol
But as long as anything that is originally yours has not been taken, I think apples, oranges and cherries are fair game. Others may feel differently.

Well . He might have got the idea to use an apple from your logo but its such a universal idea for gravity that I doubt it . Plus his logo does'nt look anything like yours . So you're a little off :p .

Perfectly chilled - you can call me Iced Mocha.

Look, I was under the impression that, as a designer taking part in the contests on this site, I am not to use other designer's work as inspiration or spin off of their idea. Original artwork. I saw an apple in your concept after I submitted my first entry (which has a tree with an apple falling out of it). What conclusion would you come to?

Not trying to cause a commotion - just want everyone to play fair.

If anybody else is reading this...am I right in my way of thinking or am I way off?

NightOwl? Chill out. The apple is not my concept, that is what they teach at grade school.

May we know why the client chose the name Gravity Jack? This may give the designers some inspiration. Thank you.
