Description of business

I am responsible for the marketing of some events for the city of The Hague, The Netherlands. This October, we are hosting a new festival, called HOLLAND-INDIA festivals, The Hague. This logo will be used as an 'umbrella brand' for many different festivities, for instance cultural dance celebratrions, exhibitions, bollywood movie specials etc. The target audience is the citizens of The Hague. The Hague has a large community with origins in Surinam, with roots and strong ties to India and its culture. There are also many Indian expats working in the city. The festival (and the logo) should be a celebration of the unity and connection between the two countries (Holland & India) and its cultures.

It is important that the logo can be used for a variety of events, so the design should not specifically only apply to dance or just to movies, etc. But various elements of the festival can be used as elements. The main elements are: dance-movies-exhibitions-cultural heritage.
