Charter Risk Management Services, LLC
We are a captive manager, forming and managing captive insurance companies. Captive insurance is a form of self-insurance, whereby companies, regardless of industry, establish their own insurance company to insure their risks. Our business is to help form and manage those captive insurance companies. Another way to say it is that we are risk managers, helping our client companies manage their risk. While we will operate in other states and, perhaps other countries, our initial focus will be to form and manage captive insurance companies in Connecticut. As the "Capital of Insurance" in the United States, Connecticut recently passed a law to become a domicile for captives.

You will see that for my initial attempt at a logo, I chose the Charter Oak Tree which has historical significance in Connecticut. The American Colonies first constitution (charter) was written and enacted in Connecticut and hidden from the British in an old oak tree, thereafter known as the "Charter Oak Tree". I also like the imagery of the oak because from small acorns, might oaks grow. In our business, a small investment by a company will, hopefully, grow into a large one. That said, I am not tied to the image of an oak tree in our logo.
