CONGRATULATIONS to JR...entry #45 is the winner. (I am sorry that I had to end the contest an hour or so early, I will be leaving for my mother's Memorial Service in an hour)
Thank you to all the designers who submitted to my contest. It was a very difficult choice because when I thought that I had what I wanted...then someone else would submit a design that was unexpected and different. This was a challenge...yet an exciting one. Many people were directed to this contest to give me their opinions and just as many were highly impressed by the creativity and expertise that was demonstrated on many of the designs. You may be seeing many of my friends starting up contests in the near future. I am highly appreciative of all the hard work that was displayed here. I hope that I may be able to work with one of you in the near future on other projects that I have on the drawing board.
I will be submitting another contest for my Blog design CyberHotFlash in the next few days...keep your eye out for it!

To all the designers:
I am sorry if I am unable or haven't commented on all the designs submitted. My mother passed away yesterday morning. Despite this sad event, I am doing everything I can to keep in contact with the contest, making comments and suggestions. My mother was a woman of elegance and strongly supported my work.
I greatly appreciate all the enthusiasm, creative ideas and efforts everyone is putting into this contest. I am having a hard time...choosing.
Please keep your ideas coming.
Entry #47 and #46: These are nice...but a bit too elaborate for my needs. The "AWE" is getting lost in the background and the figure needs to be up-dated...it leans more toward the figure of a woman in the 1930's to 1940's.
I love Alphonse Mucha...he is one of my favorite artists, along with Jack Vettriano (especially his painting called "Dance with Me to the end of Love". This woman in this painting, along with the woman in "Singing Butler" is exactly the look and the feel that I am looking for, except I do not wan tthe figures dancing.
Mucha's painting or style is a bit too "retro" for what I am looking for.
