Turned out Very Nice, Great job :) - Not sure how you did the fades without converting the layered painting to a solid image though on your recent submission.

Still looks good, but makes it no longer editable when in a solid raster state.

I'm mainly a Vector designer myself keeping everything in layered points/paths. My main tool is Serif DrawPlus X2 & my Genius G-Pen Graphics Tablet. I Also own Photoshop Cs3, Illustrator Cs3, & Fireworks Cs3. Though I mainly use them for file conversions & stick to my serif software which has a Great user interface & more feature than all three of my Cs3 softwares combined :)

Lane - That's very nice, but I noticed you didn't use any of the elements in the lower 2 versions of #8 & that your custom font work is a totally different style than the painting, Is that a Solid image (No layers) with gold font placed on top of it?

Just curious, If so, where did you get the image, I might be interested in those if it's from a royalty free site. It's a Very nice piece :)

    couple clarification questions -

1.) By your last post you mean 120 px hight x 350 px width right?

2.) Do you need a certain solid color Background .Png or will a Transparent be fine so that it blends with anything?

3.) Same as Egotrippin, do you have a color scheme in mind already?

4.) What type/style of gaming site will this cater to? (That way it gives an idea for a relative logo/mascot/icon)

That's it for now, I'll be placing this contest on my watch list & check back later :)
