THANKS for your entries. I wish I could reward you all with more than thanks. Ultimately, PCarlson's work matched the FUN my wife is looking to communicate with her logo. Navah, ac2007 and celiacastelo - we thank you for accepting our feedback and making revisions; your entries were all competitive. We like bryceadams banner concept too. All entries were good, but PCarlson's logo says what we need to say. I'm sure we will be back for more design work when we need it!

OK - after giving everyone individual feedback, here is a tweaking of our specifications:

Need brown and pink colors. Hen needs to have a personality, feminine, happy, even sexy, not cartoonish. Oval shapes (like an egg) is very feminine and we like the designs with those shapes. Also, hmcquigg's design inspired us to think that a dozen small eggs in a line between our name and tagline might be cool. Fonts and design elements that can evoke a Victorian feel are also good. The design needs to communicate a scapbooking theme too.

We're asking a lot, I know. Fun/happy, crafty, historical and feminine, but that is our message and we need a logo that communicates it.

WOW - What a nice response so far! My wife and I will provide individual feedback tonight when we are together and can do the wordsmithing then. In general, Diana likes designs with the pink and brown color theme - working in a scrapbook if possible. There's no way we'll let the contest run for 5 more days - it will be too hard to choose! We will provide individual feedback this evening, wait another day or so for any revisions, and make our selection. You folks are all great and we appreciate your response. Best, John
