Thank you all for your entries. I have closed the contest a few days early, because entries had slowed down a lot, and I found the logo that I was looking for.

I was very impressed with many of the logos, and although I chose a winner, I might let you know that it really was very, very close.

You all had excellent entires that came close. In the end, it came down to simplicity and readability, and the ability to be used not just on a webpage, but on other media.

If anyone else would like their work (that didn't win) featured on my site (lots of traffic) as a runner-up, PM me with a large gif or jpeg. I'll link to your design site if you have one, or if not, I'll link to your sitepoint portfolio.

Sorry, no not abandoned. I wouldn't do that to you! There were some entries (a bunch) that I needed to comment on within 7 days, and I didn't. So sitepoint automatically suspends these, which I agree with. It keeps feedback going to the designers.

Great job with all the logos everyone. Still some time left with this, but I reserve the right to close the contest early if I just decide I like one of the logos enough to use.
