Brief Summary

FICA - the representative body of the various professional cricketers associations worldwide is looking to create a new logo. The logo must be distinctive and represent the standing of FICA on the world cricket stage. It must be adaptable to use online, on stationary, on branding backdrops for broadcast and interviews and on clothing as a sports mark for the development of merchandise items.

FICA represents its member player associations from across the world including, the ACA (Australia), NZPCA (New Zealand), PCA (England), SACA (South Africa) CWAB (Bangladesh) WIPA (West Indies) SLCA (Sri Lanka), ZPA (Zimbabwe), as well as representing all international cricketers at the highest level of the game. FICA works closely with the ICC (International Cricket Council), the cricket world's governing body on issues that are common to players interests worldwide, from player contracts and commercial rights to anti-doping and anti-corruption codes. FICA is expanding its offering to its member associations and the support it provides to them and their members the players, as well as growing is commercial and sponsorship revenues. It therefore needs a new logo to represent it on the world stage. The logo must be, clean, clear, modern and professional in style, representing the approach adopted by FICA. It must clearly show the letters FICA and have the option to define FICA with "Federation of International Cricketers' Associations" as a strapline or part of the logo. It must have the energy and dynamism of modern professional cricket, positioning FICA as a forward-thinking proactive body in the game. In addition, FICA is about the players themselves, the focus of the game, it would be worth exploring incorporating a player or imagery from the game, bats, balls etc FICA is a global brand in a global sport, a sport that unites races, colours and cultures, the logo should try and reflect this. Each of the member associations above has their own distinct logo. We are not looking for an amalgamation of the members logos but either a logo that can reflect the members or stand out above them.
