    rjjense,

Did you not see the post right above yours? I have announced the winner of the logo contest, but not the vBulletin contest. Since this was my first contest I did not know how it was going to go. I now know for future contests that I will have my logo done first and then try to get a site designed.

Thanks again to all the entires,
    Richard S

What? Is there a winner or not? Or is this another rip off?

The winner of the logo contest has now been announced. We are sorry to inform the people that entered the vBulletin contest, that at this time we are not going to decide on a winner. The reason being is that this was our first contest and we found out after that it would be a better idea to have our logo made first. Sorry to everyone that entered the vBulletin contest. We may still be contacting you after we get our logo all situated.

Hope to see all of you at eurojunky.com the european car and motorcycle community!

Thanks again to all the wonderful entries,
    Richard S

    EmLiam,

Sorry for not answering this before! The reason the word junky and euro are combined in my community name is self explanatory, but to explain it further; junky means someone that is addicted. Therefor eurojunky means someone that is addicted to europe or in the aspect of this site european cars and motorcycles.

    Thanks again,
    Richard S

    @Gainsome (contestholder): Thank you.:)

Btw, please answer how/why you came up with the name eurojunky? (why junky with euro?) Asking as it would be helpful to design with that in mind.

@Gainsome (contestholder): Btw, how/why you came up with the name eurojunky? Also, add a link of this contest to your website (eurojunky.com right?), so that we know you have authority over that site, just to confirm, as your are in USA.

Currently we are looking for some open concepts. We want your best interpretation of the name eurojunky and the tagline: european car and motorcycle community in a logo. If this means an outline of the front end of a Porsche Carrera GT, then so be it. Go WILD, release your creativity! Forget about all the rules that have been applied so far! We would also like to see some more vBulletin skins, if you would like to be paid more for a project PM the amount, but still put up a entry. The color combination is open, but we prefer the use of black, greys and blues.

Thanks again for all the great entries,
    Richard S

If possible we would like to see some concepts of the front end of a european car and motorcycle combined as a apart of the logo.

Thanks again for all your entries,

    Rambler001,

A european flag would work as well. We were just thinking that a widely known european nation is Germany. Therefore the idea was to have a german flag, but we are open to the idea of the european flag.

    Thanks again,
    Richard S

"It was to have the german flag colors running down the middle of the letters all the way across, but only in the letters not outside"

How about a european flag?? Why German?
