    Hello Designers,

I think you all know that we're all winners, but we can only hand the prize to one contestant.

We pared down our finalists to 3 winning entries (#80, #103 and #159), and choose #80 to be our logo.

Congrats Geca, and we'll be in touch soon.

Thanks again to everybody for their submissions,
    DGLINC

Well done! Thank you each and everyone of you for all of your creative point of views.

We will be reviewing and picking our winner tomorrow. I hope everybody had fun.

This has been an exciting process here. It's going to be great to be unglued to my computer and not have to write feedbacks anymore! Hooray!!!

    Good Night,

    Hello Designers,

I hope that everyone is having a good time!
There are 5.5 hours left before our logo competition closes.

    Few pointers:
Thanks for not plasticizing graphics with the glossy button effect.
Thanks for not using gradients to make metal look – it won’t translate to print well.
Thanks for the type changes from sans serif to serif.
Colors we seemed to have been drawn to tend to be monochromatic schemes.
Please keep in mind, that design has to also translate well in black and white on paper.

In the Lead: Designers with the strongest entries are:

Asti ( basically one strong design with tons of variation; there’s potential if paired with complimentary serif type)
    Geca (#65, 80, 88 - this man has range)
    Ella z (#103 - WOW)
Struggle4ward (#81-85 series – a little too modern, but I think there’s potential if paired with complimentary type; take out gradient and make graphic flat colors )

At the moment their designs rock! They suit our image (clean, simple, and professional) and WOW us with their classiness and originality. Everyone is welcomed to look at their design as a point of reference or inspiration, but please do not replicate their work. We’re simply looking for more original ideas to blow us away.

    Must mention:
#77 (Struggle4ward), #76 (Mbimotmog), #13, 89, and 90 (Godney): These are wicked strong designs (elegant and business worthy), but they’re too modern for us. It’s obvious that they’re very talented and offer unique point of views. I hope someone buys these from them.

Winner: It’s Sunday here, so we cannot announce the winner until tomorrow, Monday, July 28, 2008 at 3pm Pacific Standard Time.

Deliverables: This wasn’t mentioned in our brief, but we’d like the winning design to be delivered to us in this package:
    1) Vector format
    2) Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator document
    3) Copy of font

Thanks for listening and we appreciate your taking up this challenge.

    Hello Designers,

We have 1 day and 9 hours remaining. There has been an incredible turnout for our logo contest, thank you! I'd love to keep the momentum going; for us-closer to what we think best reflects our business' image, and for you-even closer to your prize.

The latest revelation we've had in reviewing these entries is that the modern look seems to be too modern for us. So, we're hoping to see more use of good old fashioned, traditional serif fonts. Nothing too antiquated please, we're not Medieval accountants to kings and queens. However, the design that can bridge or pair the traditional with the modern going forward, like our business. Please do not use arrows!

I hope that wasn't too abstract.

Thanks again for joining our contest!

    Hello Designers,

    Thanks for your creative submissions.

In response to mblasick: I thought that a '+' it might be an inspiring and cool symbol for the image of our accounting business. I've withdrawn the "plus sign" from our brief, because I no longer think that it's going to work with our logo. I hope this helps you help us get you closer to the prize.

    Thank you!
