Yeah, I really think it was a sham. I would split it too, but I dont think anyone will have the opportunity.

Well if t comes down to you winning I think you should share the prize Carbon only to be fair. As for the contest
it might be a sham anyways as the host has 2 other contests that he left hanging with no winner and one of them
is dated back to January of this year. This is a sign that this host is not to be trusted for their word.

But still, the logo's do have some differences... I doubt I will win anyway. If anyone else says something, I'll pull it. I don't see that it's too big of a deal. I'm not in this to "Crush the competition." I just wanted to see if I could make a logo for this type of company, and I did. It just came out a little too much like someone else's.

I think you should pull it as the right thing to do cause that is to close. If any of my work was close to any other design prior to my submission I too would pull it cause I rather win something that I made and not feel it was a rip of someone else's and get labeled a thief or have that perception linger on here of me in that way.

I understand completely where you are coming with that, but I never once looked at the other entries when I was designing mine. I also stated in the comments that I realized that it did look like BombardierBob's logo design, because I saw it when I looked through the other entries before submitting my own. I'm not that kind of guy.

It its going to cause a feud between some of the entrants, I'll just take it out, but I swear, I didn't copy his work.

I to agree with moltoallegro, BombardierBob's nice mark with the c & d, I have to say that is the best even compared to my own design submission on here. I would rather see him win then a a copy of his design.

Great contest despite the copying of design, just hope the host will chose a winner and not leave it hanging like another contest under his name.
