Design brief

Organization name

FuBarbell

Description of business

I am a female Olympic-style Weightlifting (think weightlifting in the Olympics) coach that provides weightlifting instruction to beginning and intermediate level athletes. My aim is to provide information in a clear and organized fashion promoting my services as a coach and also further promoting my company as a brand.

My target audience is new and beginning athletes that would like to learn how to Olympic-style weightlift. I would like also like my website to attract more women while still being gender neutral. The age range of the target audience would be early 20s to late 30s. I would like the design to feel modern and hip. Think break dancing, hip hop, freestyle snowboarding/skiing, extreme sports. The logo should feel vibrant and young but still carry a feminine feel since I am a female coach.

Using the Olympic rings as inspiration, I would like to include the colors in the logo somehow: blue, black, red, gold, green.

Check out http://www.gymnasticswod.com. Their logo and overall feel of the print is something that I like but more feminine without being obviously so. Also see, http://www.FuBarbell.com for my current webpage. And in case you need to reference the Olympics, check out http://www.Olympic.org.

Also, this is an image of someone performing one of the lifts. More examples can be found on the internet if you Google snatch, clean and jerk.  http://www.crossfitplanb.com/wp-con…erk-md.png
