    Hello finalists,
Welcome to the final round and thank you for all your hard work and creativity thus far.
    1. BACKGROUND
The background should be a realistic image of London. e.g. red bus, red post box, river Thames, playground (togive a fun feel e.g. swings, slide etc)
Please do not use London Eye (wheel) or Big Ben as another London Mummy blogger has done this.

    2. The point is that this image is being used instead of a photo of me and my 2 girls, as I dont want everyone to know its me who's writing it. So you can add more detail. Please allow the picture to fill up as much of the landscape picture as possibe.

    3. ICON Please dont forget to incorporate an icon as well

Thank you and I look forward to seeing the revised designs. We are in the home stretch now!

    hi all,
there is an energy/ playfulness that we would like you to try and incorporate into the design. The picure should say i am a busy mum with 2 gorgeous girls. Sometimes i have no idea whats going on but i am the happiest person to be with them. i have 100 things happening at the same time (toddler pulling in 1 direction, bags to carry, baby doing somthing else). i have a fast paced life but i am relatively in control. other mothers should like me and so i should look good. i should convey an aspirational sense to other mums without looking too smug, arrogant.

Thank you for all your hard work.

    hi all,
thank you for all your hard work so far.
one thing to note is that the picture you are creating is supposed to fit in a rectangular landscape picture that will go across the website - similar to the shape i uploaded in the design brief from the virgin atlantic website (our lowest fares)
    Thanks

To all designers. here is some guidance on the colour scheme. We're looking for fun vibrant colours that represent the chaos of this mum's world - which is fast and completely dominated by her children. She's in their world now, and they're the boss! (Which is why toddler pulling mum in opposite direction works wonderfully and illustrates this family well.)

We want these colours to also match each persons personality. So baby in soft pinks. And toddler in bright bold colours, and mum in the traditional blue coloured jeans and a white kurti top (she's an early 30s something, modern british indian woman).

    hi all,
Thanks very much for your hard work.
    (1) Please can you see the photos I have uploaded which will give you a better sense of what I look like and my 2 daughters (2 years and 7 months)
    (2) the pictures need to be more high energy, stylised, modern with an urban feel. The Indian part is just a flavour but not the focus. Think modern Indian Mum in sex in the city (without the heels and the shopping!)
(3)my toddler should be high energy and mischevious looking. i like the idea of her pulling me in a different direction and perhaps pointing at something

I have not focussed too much on colours at this stage as i would like to get the picture right first.
please do send questions if you have any and thanks to all for your hard work.
