Congratz to nejikun! Too bad the contest holder wasn't more proactive giving feedback, I'm a bit frustrated.. it happens.

Wow - All I can say is that I am thoroughly impressed with several of the entries. I gave a handful of entrants 5-stars! I had to rely on friends and colleagues to help me pick a winner.

Stay tuned designers! -I have more contests on the way.

BTW - If your design was rated 4 stars or higher in this contest I would consider using you on other projects. Be sure to PM me with your contact details.

I think your observation is a good one arpad. I didnt see the cutting off coupons when i thought about the name as it applied to the internet. Scissors will scratch the monitor and you risk possible shock! :)

I understand and know about that habit, it was just a point Mogeek, we don't have to think in the same way, besides thinking Google, Yahoo or Ebay (like it says in ch's briefing), means thinking globally, not exclusively US. At least thats my vision, we as designers need to do a deep research and worry about subconscious symbolic associations and how they affect us on the immediate and on the long run.

Hello guys, great entries here. Just one question that popped out of my head: in context with the contest holder's briefing, Coupons Pal is help you to save money.. so why the scissors? From what I've learned, scissors mean quarrels, possible separation. Anyway, just a mind breaker.

    later,
    João
