Vox Lumiere-The Phantom of the Opera
Vox Lumiere is "rock concert meets silent film". We take new music and live performance, and combine that with the beauty of the classic silent film We have a number of productions including The Phantom of the Opera, Metropolis, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and Peter Pan. Please avoid anything that feels like the "other" Phantom.
Adjectives: new, cool, young, edgy, steampunk, punk
The Folder "Phantom Logo Ideas (from V for Vendetta)" are exactly that - images we like. These are ideas of how we think we want the logo to look and feel - the simplicity, boldness, colors for V for Vendetta are very striking and seem to fit with Phantom of the Opera. The idea of the ink pen - someone scratching the "P" with an ink pen from the 1800's. For Phantom specifically we included the V for Vendetta images because those are the things that have the look, vibe, feel of what we want our Phantom to look like.
Overall we like things that are bold, simple, striking, memorable, and can work both as a giant billboard or as a tiny web ad. We also want to be able to extract elements of the logo to use as stand alone elements. (ie: the "P" in Phantom or some other icon that you wow us with). Current examples of things we think are strong and bold along these lines are: Wicked, Blue Man Group, V for Vendetta - not that we want our logo to look like any of those, but it's the simplicity and boldness of them that we like and then of course we want it to have OUR vibe and feel, and look like it comes from Vox Lumiere. Like all the Cirque du Soleil show logo branding - they are identifiable as Cirque.
Our production also has a very cool steampunk vibe.
Our audience is international. Age - 6 to 96. CORE AUDIENCE AGE 23 to 45.
We want to project the image of a young, cool, radical cutting-edge new show.
Please use the brand name Vox Lumiere as part of the logo. HOWEVER, The Phantom of the Opera must be dominant.
Use of the TAGLINE "The Same Love Affair... a Whole New Seduction" is OPTIONAL.
