i was going to enter a design, but it's too last minute, but while i am writing this i noticed that #33 uses a font that is free for personal use only and can't be used for commercial use. i have designed a few typefaces in my day and i can't stand people who don't respect the type designers who don't want their font used in a commercial setting.

For anyone considering a last minute entry, I've been shopping these designs around, and the seven uneliminated above are the only ones that have got at least a tepid response -- and rather to my surprise, the almost unanimous favorite (including three out of three graphic designers/layout artists in the pool) is #29.
