cybermoose...I see now why you were so quick to jump to ctothea's defense... 99/1... also, i don't believe that anyone is here for "fun" spending hours designing work only to have it turned down is not all that much "fun"... It is all about the money honey... don't kid yourself... and Kristina... awesome design! Good luck to all the talent!
Interesting cybermoose, however I was tooting no horn, only implying that she might not know exactly what she is talking about. I have also noticed many people who have been members for only a week or so and they have won several contests. Maybe it is only hard to win contests if you are not a very talented designer? And if you are truly talented then chances are you probably wouldn't have to take from anyone's design... Copying someone else's work only shows your lack of talent and imagination...
so what are you saying the business card could not print to look that good? how would it look then??

That is QUITE rude and you just got here, it's very hard to win a contest on this site, so don't toot your horn yet, girl.
There are always people who take from someones designs at the end anyhow. It's the people who wait the last minute who most times wins the entry. :)

Not meaning to be rude but CtotheA you have no entries in this contest, and out of 98 contest entries you have won one... It is possible to print shine and gloss in vector format, have you ever looked at a Windows OS box?
So you (as a designer) are saying that gloss, gradient and reflection (etc..) look just as good on paper than they do on the web? lol
That is why I these designs are coined "WEB" 2.0 LOOKS.
