MintFX is right, we can't design our own logos. That's why we have run the entries past a group of potential clients as well as all of you and our team. We will definitely be back for more, and will continue to get more focused and quicker in the design process with you.

REMEBER to emphasize the brand you must look through the eyes of your market to see how your identity is most relevant. If you Need a timeless, fresh, clean and sophisticated image it must make sense to "them" not you that is why you cannot design your own logo, you need us.

    thanks for the opportunity

BTW, no matter what the result of this contest is, I wanted to say you've been really awsome with the feedback. Best feedback I've seen in sitepoint in a while. Thanks for that!

    Update:

We have narrowed the current entries down to BeeOsx and Lorenzomarchi's latest entries, and are 95% likely to go with one of those two.

If a new entry comes along in the next 1/2 day that we can't say no to, it will win. Otherwise, one of the two mentioned here will have it.

There are a lot of neat logos in this contest, and there's a lot of need for logos in the real estate work we do, so we'll be back for more soon!

I'm off, lost motivation. Good luck with your contest. There are a few potentially good logos here but I think the "upscale thing" got lost.

    Update:

We're leaning toward the following at this point.

    1) BeeOsx is very impressive, our top contender at the moment.
    2) Webxstudio and Lorenzomarchi have strong GR-based concepts.
    3) Kmoneil's tree and Entz's round home both still feel good.
    4) Wren123, Uhlats, and Neu have good entries and we could surprise them still.
    5) Romasuave's "G" power button is interesting, and could be a contender with some refinement. Yellowdog's butler, a completely different direction, could be a contender as well - and may have already won had the contest stopped sooner.

That's the current feedback, many VERY creative entries! Too bad we can't choose several.

MintFX was correct, it doesn't matter what our style is, it matters what our target market is.

We will focus on sales / resales of real estate in newer master-planned communities, such as:

    www.nocatee.com
    www.stapletononline.com
(examples, do not use specific colors, images, product from these)

These are not markets we are currently in, these are markets we're entering.

Gourmet - we're promoting a high level of service. Stapleton, for example, has a wide range of homes and home prices. We will target specific geographic locations (high density master planned neighborhoods) - and not a specific income bracket.

Hope that helps guide the design.
