Mine is in a vector form and can be scaled to any size. Most designers use illustrator, which is a vector program and in photoshop you can have vector objects. So, looking a these designs, I think most of them are.

    Hey Everyone,

I did a kid test today and wanted to share what they thought. We have liked all the entries so far but nothing has just jumped out and said this is it. There are several we really like if we were doing something for youth or adults but felt they still lacked something to grab a kid's attention.

Today we asked 8 kids ranging from 5-14 years old what they thought of the entries. They weren't really impressed with any of them. (sorry) They thought the ones done with only the name with the cross and world in them were boring. They thought they needed some artwork, a picture or icon, or something in them to make them more exciting.

The only ones that they thought were possibilities with some changes were:

#11 & #12: They liked the explosion look and lettering but didn't like the kids, thought they looked like ghost. Suggestions were take kids off in #12 and leave the same shape of design but add a world starting at the bottom of the word combustion and kind of fill in the bottom space.

On #11: Take off kids and smiley face and kind of just bring the explosion part down a little ways behind the world but not all the way.

#21: They liked the idea behind it but thought the world kind of looked fuzzy and wondered about taming it down a little. I left some other suggestions on your personal email yesterday that we would like you to experiment with.

#33, #34, #35: Could you try making the edges jagged around the design?

#38: I think this is a redo of the design they saw but a couple of the girls thought it was cute.

#36 was ok but thought superman should be a kid and a world in his hand. #39 looked like the Statue of Liberty.

#37 was not posted when they were looking but I think this is more the style that the kids were looking for. The kids want more than just a word in the logo. I really like this style. Great job!

The team (adults) have liked #18,#28,#21 has possibilities,&#33

#28: can we see what it looks like to change the sun to the world instead of the "o"?

I really appreciate all the entries so far and you are all very creative. I do have to take to heart the input from the kids because that is my target group. So lets see what we come up with now with those ideas.

Our definite eliminations at this are: #2,#3, #4,#6. Thanks for trying.

    Thank you!

I like what I am seeing but would like to see a little more varity- different designs. Most of them are just using the lettering of the word for the design. Could we possibly try some with a little more art work in them instead of just using the word Combustion?

    Thanks!

    Hi Everyone,

I finally got some comments from the rest of my team and here is the conclusion so far. First of all we would like to thank everyone for their participation. All the entries are great but some of them aren't quite what we had in mind.

    Our thoughts so far:
#2,#6,#19, are a little boring for kids ministry
#3 not crazy about the faces but like the splattered font
#4,#5,#11,#12,#25 not quite what we are looking for
#7,#20,#22 still missing a little something, needs to be a little more exciting
#9 like font on top but would benefit a picture being added
#10 like a lot but a little plain. Can we add anything?
#21 Maybe add a sword with a cross on handle piercing the world, or try a normal world with a cross or something
#23 & #24 nice but still missing something
    #26 Like alot
#29 this one was not up when I got these responses from the team. Like the animation. very child friendly!

I would say that as a whole our favorites at this time are #10,#18,&26. Please remember that this is for a kids group ages 3 through fifth grade. We want it to say this is a fun place to be and want it to generate excitement. Something that kids would look at and think WOW! It draws their attention.

Thanks again for all the entries! Please keep them coming
