Looking for a logo for our new name for our children's ministry at church. We want to be able to use the logo on posters, banners, t-shirts, name tags, promotional items, etc.
COMBUSTION!
COMBUSTION! is the new name for our children's ministry at church. Our mission's statement is " Igniting ordinary kids to illuminate their world."
We want something that will grab people's attention. We want it to have our name on it and a child friendly picture. We want it to generate excitement that this is the place you want to be! You'll have a blast!
Some random thoughts that helped us pick the name Combustion!:
Children impacting their world
The power of the Holy Spirit in us will cause a combustion in our life, bringing forth God's word & a power to tell the world about Christ. It empowers us!
Acts 2:4 "All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them"
Empowered by the Holy Spirit
Reaction between us & the Holy Spirit causes us to be the light, the fire in others.
On fire for Christ! God wants us to be explosive!
When I have been talking to the kids about the name I have been relating it to explosives, powerful reactions,etc.
We are a commitee of 5 that will be deciding on the logo. I will do my best to respond every day. We are new to this process.
