The current entries aren't sufficient for me to pick one. I'll guarantee the contest once there's at least one I would actually want to use.
The contest holder has extended this contest to 10 days.
Not sure if I'm not communicating tihs properly, but somehow these submissions so far aren't really doing it for me. They just feel far too generic and cheesy..
thankss.........good luck all
Netraam,
good questions.
We do want a logo that has some semblance of unity. I think that the part of the logo that should have unity is the "Cent". The recent cladoo contest is a good example of that, yes. I want people to later look at hte icons and realize they're from the same brand.
I don't have a preference. I like your idea of a ball in the O, or sports balls running amuck in the logo. An Icon that is sports-related is great, as long as it fits and looks good. I'll leave this one up to the designer :)
I would also like a black and white versoin presented next to the logo, just incase. As of right now, it will be mostly web, but just in case, it would be good to get the web version and also the flattened print/black and white version.
Thank you for your invite nphase, I have it on my watchlist.
So if I am not mistaken you want a logo presenting unity, but a different aspect in each category? I.e Cent stays but sports represents sports, balls represents balls in a similar style but different. Like MegaVideo does and the recent Cladoo contest?
Do you want a logo (pure text) or an icon next to the text or coherent with the text 'sports'? For example, a ball in the o or someone running on top of the word.
Does the style need to be presented in black and white as well or will you only use it on the web? This matters as most logo's here are presented 3D, if you want to have them flat it's a different story.
Thanks for answering my questions.
Regards,
Maarten
