    puzzle pieces as logo are a bit overused but anyway, since the company is using in their web page a lot of puzzle like elements i assume the contest will be full of puzzle pieces, so similarities will occur.

    fuidideas, it is not impossible, I have seen it happen before, and our entries where within seconds of each other. I find it kinda neat. but now that pb has withdrawn no one will now what where talking about
