Kudos! A lot of great work here. However, I do see lot of BT Group copycat logos. Kind of high profile to be copying don't you think. Also a lot of trendy DOT logos. Not very unique or distinct. I don't want to single anyone out here —(#71, #109, #207, #97, #142). Does anybody worry about trademark infringement? 2 cents. Peace out.

I don't really get what all the fuss is about. I use stock photography on a daily basis for my corporate clients. How is using stock vectors any different? If it's right for the client and their business does it really matter? Sorry if I've offended anyone during the contest. It wasn't my intention.

7design - I have a shutterstock account that I pay for - therefore I have purchased the rights to use these icons when I download them and am free to use them as I wish. There are no rules against this.
haha - that's like saying you own a Beatles record, therefor you own the rights to their songs...

MANTA, you do not own the copyright to that for use in a logo. The box that you check when you submit says that it is entirely your work and the rules say "Make sure the work you are submitting is your own and that you are legally entitled to post it. If you are using any stock images in your design, make sure that you inform the contest holder that they will need to purchase licenses."
ok, anyone can have an account, and anyone can get the same logo, but that's not the point. It is all about creativity and providing something fresh and original. You can have stock item for a $10, not $800.
