CloseDesign brief
Presentation Advisors is a one-man presentation firm. I work with clients of all shapes and sizes, from large corporations to non-profits and universities, helping them tell their stories with visually engaging PowerPoint presentations, marketing communications, and social media strategies.
Much of my brand is focused around my thought leadership via my blog (http://blog.presentationadvisors.com) and workshops. After this logo is designed, I will use it as the cornerstone for a WordPress design contest that will result in the combination of my corporate site and blog site all into one.
Presentation Advisors
My audience varies widely. Since the logo will represent my brand, it will be seen on all collateral like business cards, my website, Twitter background, presentations, etc. My blog audience can range from educators to designers to CMOs and more.
I'm looking for a completely new logo, from scratch. I never really loved my current logo and it only appeared on my Twitter background (http://www.twitter.com/story_jon) and business cards. The blog carried on the orangish/reddish color scheme of the old logo, but that's not a prerequisite. I'm refraining from uploading the old logo file because it's irrelevant. This is completely new.
The winning logo will have the following characteristics:
- A current, web 3.0 feel
- The full Presentation Advisors brand name AND an alternate using just "PA", thus reproducing well into an icon.
- Multiple file formats (.ai, .psd, .pdf, .jpg)
I want to give you the freedom to create. You choose the color palette, but it must be a palette that can carry over well to a blog design. YOU DO NOT NEED TO USE THE OLD ORANGE/GREY COLOR SCHEME. My presentations are designed with simplicity, beauty and color. The logo should have that same feel.
Adding a visual element/image to the logo is welcomed but not necessary.
