Brief Summary

We are looking for a Logo that is Engaging and Welcoming. We want it to express a Fun, Hip, and Modern feel, with just the right amount of Retro infusion.

Our original ideas included: Font only, possible Neon sign usage, black and white color.
But as I have been watching and studying the site and all the contests, I have been so impressed with the submissions that I am choosing to keep any 'limitations' very light. I am Very interested in seeing any and all Creative (!) ideas. So please stretch and submit anything that "Feels" ...oh I don't know...Oddly Compelling.

We hope to use the winning design for the storefront sign, all stationary, marketing, web, etc.

I will log in, rate, and give feedback everyday. I really hope to find a winner, because all the next steps to opening our business hinge on this decision!

Description

Our business will include retail sales and photography services. Our target customers will include College kids and their visiting families, tourists, and local niche markets. Our services will lean to the non-traditional, and span the world of Digital as well as Darkroom. So we want the Logo to Welcome ALL for a Fun and engaging experience. Regarding the name; family, friends, us...we are split 50/50 for the use of "the" before Photo Booth. At this stage I would love to see both options, but I would request that "the" be lower case and downplayed relative to Photo Booth. We also plan to develop several retail lines, so setting up an on-going business with a designer would be a plus. I have really enjoyed watching this site for a couple of months now, and I am constantly impressed with the quality of the entries. I am open to all ideas, and very excited to work with such motivated designers. I hope you can take this to places I never thought possible. Thank you ahead of time, for all your efforts, ideas, and time invested. It is truly appreciated.

- Fresh, Fun, Hip yet cooly modern...with just the right amount of Retro added to the feel. -Color interest is white/black, but definitely not limited to it. Cool color schemes will work best with inside decor. - any feedback to me that will help or enhance this contest...b/c I just don't know what I don't know! - I guess I would request it to be delivered in vector format
