Ryde City Bowling Club needs a new logo. They are not happy with the current logo. The club is a lawn bowls community club – where they provide members and guests with dining facilities, bar, poker machines and event rooms for parties and corporate seminars etc.

The club is a lawn bowls community club – where they provide members and guests with dining facilities, bar, poker machines and event rooms for parties and corporate seminars etc. Lawn Bowls is traditionally seen as a sport for really old people, but is starting to be more popular as a recreational activity, with Corporate Bowls Days being quite popular. People also arrange a birthday party in the function room, with a game of bowls for fun before dinner.
So the club wants to appeal to younger crowds, businesses and the general community to come to the club for events and meeting people. A lot of clubs like this have pretty average websites, we are going to try to give them something more stylish.
Once the logo is approved, we will be looking for a design for the site as well. We have a general layout already – that will be provided either in another contest, or might be commissioned directly to a designer. That will be later.
