Rumor, I did create a rather simple design. My first 3 were relatively simple, 4 colours, not too much detail etc. I played around with those a bit, then decided to go for something fun and more detailed. If I hadnt followed the brief with my first entries, I wouldnt have even designed the last one (429) at all. So its not like I didnt follow the brief, I did, then I had fun.

Hi Xtrm2Matt, could i just know why all of my logos were eliminated? I'm not asking for a long description or stuff but i'd really appreciate a few words at least to help me understand why i was eliminated because i've worked pretty much on it and its quite annoying and disappointing when you come back and see your work has been eliminated without any apparent reason (at least thats how it seems to me and thats why im writing here.)

Nothing against this design or its designer, it's very nice, but this is sort of proving the point that some are making. I thought the brief said "simple", and "not too many colors"? But #429 gets four stars, while everyone else's strong attempts at simplicity and effectiveness get silently eliminated? lol, I'm not even mad, it's whatever the contest holder -likes- when he sees it. But I am kind of sad that trying to follow the brief didn't work out too well elimination-wise .-.

obviously, but the fact it is that vague and they expect something professional. I get what you are saying yes, but the fact is, they have a vague brief and half the people submitting get the help they need while others just get eliminated w/o a response for it. How hard is it to say, to many colors and eliminate it. if u have the time to eliminate it u have the time to say 3 words.

Hahahaha at Marilee; of course any brief will be bias to a certain extent - otherwise it wouldn't be a brief! It will always be biased towards the people who can fulfil the brief as opposed to the people who are limited in their ability to respond to the brief.
