    but photoshop isnt a vector program.. though i know how to use it.. why did my entry get elimated? :(

    Forgot to mention, there is a free program for creating logos / graphics.

    It's called GIMP.

    It's decent but won't always do the job.

    Most of us designers use Photoshop. There are many versions but a lot of us use cs2 or cs3. It's expensive but way worth it.
