perhaps it would have been better to just runt he logo contest and then do a seperate stationary contest in the other contest forum. Not sure why everyone stopped doing stationary...for me i suppose i would have figured you would just go with jetpix for the stationary seeings as he/she is defenitely capable.
Either way you ran a fantastic competition with thorough and prompt feedback.
If anyone plans to submit business cards and stationery entries based on the winning logo, please message me. I have seen no new entries since I left feedback on stationery designs a over a day ago.
If you have suggestions on better ways to manage the format of this type of contest, where it is for a logo and stationery, I would also appreciate feedback for next time.
Thanks to all who submitted designs. I saw some great designs.
I forgot to mention that the stationery should be standard US sizes: paper 8 1/2 x 11 inches, cards 3 1/2 x 2 inches.
I have posted links to the winning logo files in the contest description. I am also happy to email them directly to anyone who prefers.
For business cards front side, I prefer mostly white, with color used as an accent (less than 40%). On the front, I prefer the orange mark with the blue logo text, along with aesthetically appealing layout. Not too many curves or too busy. I am open to the tagline being separate from the logo. On the back side of the card, I prefer two tone of orange/orange or blue/blue, with some combination of the mark, logo, tagline, website (www.agilite.com) appearing in the same lighter color against the darker background.
On the stationery, I prefer more minimalistic designs with some type of geometric separation. Nothing too dramatic. On envelopes, I prefer mostly white with color for accents again.
I look forward to seeing your entries.
the hard copy of the log...so if it was created in Adobe Illustrator...like mine...that will give you vactor scalability for the letterhead...us card etc.
I will pick a logo by the end of today. I have extended the timeline of the contest to allow for stationery and business card design submissions.
Thank you all for your submissions. I love the creativity and different approaches I have seen in your art work. I have narrowed the choices to a few concepts that I have circulated to the team for feedback.
I would appreciate input from this community as to the best way to do stationery design once the logo selection is completed. What files should I provide and how?
