Your comment ought better to have been put in the form of a PM (private message) to entz...
thanks oddz! :) designers have a different opinion/style/taste from the client. It has always and will always be like that. It's kind of rare to have a designerish client :) We should stick to what the client wants because at the end of the day, they are the ones who knows best what their business and client is really all about :) Thanks again for your support and keep up the good work all!
oddz: you gotta remember that the people who are buying/judging (including me) this don't have any graphic design knowledge apart from as a consumer. This is our 1st time in this kind of process so we're gonna be greener than most. I looked up the 21st Century logo thing, yep, can see that now, maybe that's why we liked it, who knows.
we really do appreciate the effort people have put in and as i said in the 1st post we really have been impressed by the quality people have produced.
entz yours is probably one of the most successful up here. I don't know how a clients mark expects to be unique and memorable when it is so similar to everything else out there. At least yours strays away from the whole house and roof thing. Then again what do clients know,lol. Its a guess but, I assume they have a thing for the 21st century logo.

ok, we've chose the 2 finalists now and we will be making a decision tomorow, it's between lynrite and robbpeele, just wanted to say thankyou to all of you who entered, there are some talented people here.

1st off we're a little blown away by the response we've had, there has been some fantastic and imaginitive work produced. We've been through all the designs and we are going to narrow the field to just 3 or 4 as we feel we're likely to be ending this within the next few days. We will repond to each design individually.
