We are a husband and wife team looking to start our dream restaurant. It will be a small Italian cafe in San Francisco specializing in seafood - specifically Scungilli - which are large snails and a staple of Italian - American Cuisine.

Target Audience

We aim to be a quaint neighborhood restaurant and therefore want to have broad appeal to the young couples and families who live near by. The restaurant will not be overly fancy or expensive…but will be the kind of place that people feel at home in.

Requirements

We are looking for a logo represent our Italian Restaurant - Scungilli.

We would love to have the logo incorporate a snail but here are a few things to think about:

1. No Cartoons - we want it to be playful but not cheap or childlike
2. Nothing too elegant - we do not want to come across as being fancy. We want the locals to feel like they can afford to eat here a couple times a week.
3. The typeface should be clear, simple and bold. We want something that stands out. Again being careful not to be too fancy.

Please do not use any stock images or clip art in the logo
