Design brief

Organization name

An American casual dinner

Description of business

We are a chain of american casual dinners that serve a wide variety of items of popular appetizers, pastas, pizzas, burgers chicken, steaks, and seafoods.

Organization industry

I'm not mentioning our name due to company policy.

We run an american casual dinner. We're starting an exclusive partnership with the cinema located close to us.
This partnership will enable our customers to reserve their movie seats while dining with us. They'll be able to view the "now showing" movies, choose the show time, and pick their seats through our iPads. Billing will be added on top of their meal in the final bill.

The illustration: (see attachment for better understanding)

The illustration should show two box offices next to each other. One acting as a regular cinema with a looooooong queue of unhappy customers fed-up from waiting in line, complaining, looking at their watches, etc. basically not being comfortable standing in long queues as we all know happens especially in weekends.

The other box office will have our partner cinema's name in it, and right in front of the box office is our dining table with 1, 2, or 3 customers dining and no one else in queue.

We want this illustration to show customers how convenient it would be if they choose to dine with us before the movie. We want customers to be able to compare.

This illustration could be used in our news letters, website, and brochures.

Please see attachments to understand the illustration better and for my preferred styles of illustration.

Further requirements

The first box office should look like a very average (not attractive) place to go to.

The second box office should look really cool and trendy.

Nice to read comments coming out of the upset people in line like "this is taking too long" and "we're gonna miss the show".

Nice to see a girl friend telling her boy friend "I'm not standing in that queue"

Nice to be able to see facial expressions.
