A contest is locked when a refund is requested by the contest holder, it violates our community guidelines, the contest holder hasn’t awarded a winner two weeks after the end of the contest, or there is some other issue with the contest.

We try to give a pretty good explanation as to why a contest has been locked in the comments, but if you’re not satisfied with the reason or you want to discuss it further, please contact our customer support staff.
