Moneybookers and Payza are secure methods of receiving payments online, and are much more time- and cost-effective than Western Union.
Anyone with a bank account and an email address can receive money through these services.
Moneybookers sends money worldwide. The fees and supported withdrawal methods vary from country to country — check out the Moneybookers website for more information.
Payza (which used to be called AlertPay) also sends money worldwide. Check out the supported withdrawal methods on the Payza web site.
Once you’ve received money through Moneybookers or Payza, you can usually choose to withdraw the money to your bank account, or have it paid to you by certified check.
If you want to withdraw the funds by check, we recommend you talk with your local post office about the security of your country’s postal service. Also, confirm that your local bank or Western Union office will cash the check before you choose this option.
